{Sugar Bee} PAC Man Chocolate Covered Oreos

This past weekend my cousin turned 30 years old and in celebration of this momentous occasion he and his family threw an 80's themed birthday party. It was such a fun party and all the guests arrived in costume! Let me just say that reliving eighties fashion is both amusing and frightening....it is actually quite hilarious to think that we wore some of those crazy things.

To go along with the flashback to the eighties, I wanted to create some equally fun treats, thus I thought PAC-MAN chocolate covered Oreos would be cute and colorful! I even added yellow sixlets to resemble the dots in the game that PAC-MAN ate!
To personalize the treats, I added the birthday boy's name and age to the tag with PAC-Man font! Overall they turned out very festive!

Happy 30th Birthday, Bernie!

{Party Bee} Client Feature: Jessica and Eric's Hawaii Wedding

This past Fall, I had the pleasure of working with Bride-to-Be, Jessica, on designing custom printables for her beachfront wedding in Hawaii. Let me tell you, it was so much fun and she was so great to work with. Most of all I was so happy that I could turn her ideas into something beautiful and elegant that worked so well with her venue, theme and decor.

Well I can't tell you how excited I was to see the photos of Jessica and Eric's wedding! Everything turned out beautifully and the bride was just absolutely stunning.
The wedding and reception took place in Hawaii outside a plantation house that was decorated with white paper lanterns, rows of beautifully decorated dinner tables, and adorable tables that contained special party favors for the guests and signature drinks!
The tables featured hydrangea floral centerpieces in clear cylinder vases that were adorned with rope. The centerpieces were placed on top of coral colored chevron table runners made by the brides mom...how cool is that! I thought the table runners added such a lovely pop of color against the white linens. I also love how the modern and rustic feel work so well together.
The bride and groom wanted to leave a special little note to all of their guests thanking them for their support and showing their love and appreciation to all who attended. What a great idea!
A friend of the couple created "His" and "Hers" signature drinks for everyone to enjoy...that is so fun! I also love the drink dispensers that hold the signature drinks.
Each guest was able to enjoy their signature drink in their very own mason jar glass and even had a tag to write their name so they could keep track of them!
The bride also enjoyed a signature drink as the new "Mrs. T"!
Guests also had the option to drink the water bottles with custom labels or take them as souvenirs. Jessica even had them laminated so that they could be put on ice!
Guests could also find sunglasses laid on the table for them to wear during the ceremony to keep the sun out of their eyes as well as flip flops to wear during the reception. How thoughtful is that?!
Since Instagram is so popular right now and a great way to collect and share photos, the bride and groom asked for the guests to share the images they captured during the ceremony and reception with them.
A sign with sparklers beside it allows the guests to know the time that the couple will be leaving and that they should grab a set of sparklers to send them off. I especially love the use of the custom flags...what a different and cute way to use the flags!
Cupcakes in four different flavors are displayed on a rustic wooden cupcake stand by the bride's father...I absolutely love it! And did you check out the cute topper?!
All of the details were so well thought out and came together beautifully!
Congratulations to the happy couple! May you have a very happy and loving marriage!

{Sugar Bee} Penguin Cookies to Kick Off the New Year!

There really was only one reason why I had to create penguin sugar cookies for the New Year, and it was all for my son! He has been loving and caring for his stuffed little penguin (named Penglit) for a couple months now and I couldn't resist surprising him with his very own penguin sugar cookies!  Here you will see him with his little Penglit...he really went EVERYWHERE with him!
So I thought why not dress up the penguin with a little bow tie so that he could welcome 2014 dressed in his best! I also thought a complimentary red bow cookie would just add a pop of color to the cookie platter.
I think these penguins are ready to celebrate the start of the New Year with their biggest fan!
Family, friends, and cookies...what a great way to start 2014!

{Queen Bee} Happy New Year!

From our family to yours,
Wishing you a happy, healthy, and very blessed 2014!

{Party Bee} The Penguin Holiday Collection

So you may be asking yourself why penguins this holiday season? Well just this past month when my son and I were shopping at Target, my son found a little stuffed penguin toy in the dollar section. He and his penguin haven't separated since and the little penguin has even been with him to the many places we have visited over the holidays...a few being Chicago, visiting Santa, The Polar Express...the North Pole! Because of his adorable friendship with his little penguin, I of course couldn't help myself and I had to create the Penguin Holiday Collection. You may also notice a little bit of inspiration from my peppermint cookies...penguins and peppermints are definitely my theme this year!

{Sugar Bee} Peppermint Candy Sugar Cookies

Earlier this month my husband stumbled upon Bakerella's tutorial for Peppermint Candy Sugar Cookies and instantly asked if I could make them just for him for Christmas. Well of course I thought they were super cute and very clever, but if you notice Bakerella makes hers adorably bite sized, however mini cookies would disappear too quickly in my household so I thought a large peppermint candy cookie would be fun and my husband could savor it a little longer! The best part about these cookies is that by adding a little peppermint extract, not only do they look like peppermint candies, but they taste like them too!
