{Sugar Bee} Happy Retirement Sherrie

This week I created a set of cookies for my Aunt's colleague and friend who was retiring after many years. She wanted to send her off with a wonderful celebration that was fit for someone who enjoys the cabin life, so what better way to say "happy trails" than with adorable sugar cookies!

The theme of the party was just too cute and I was very excited to have been able to make these cookies! I immediately thought of all the great stuff that we experience when spending time in a cabin.

The first cookies I thought of were the s'mores designs! I don't know about you, but I love to roast marshmallows by the fire and make s'mores, so I created two designs. One with a cute little smiley face, the other with the saying "wish we had s'more time together". They were both so cute, we had to make both!

The second design I wanted to create was the name plaque with the pine trees. I think of all the beautiful green trees when we go up north to stay in a cabin and I thought we needed that in the cookie set. So I airbrushed little trees and personalized the plaque with the name of the retiree, Sherrie. On that same note, I created little tree cookies with snow on them, since we are approaching that time of year.

Next, I wanted to incorporate a camp fire. I think that sitting by the fire is always such a cozy and fun way to relax and enjoy the outdoors. With this cookie design I airbrushed the flames with a couple different colors for a very cool effect.

Last, but not least, I created a camping mug that says "happy retirement" that is topped with hot chocolate and marshmallows, because who doesn't love a hot cup of cocoa on a cold day when staying in a cabin!

This set turned out so cute and I hope Sherrie loved them as much as I loved making them! Happy retirement!

{Sugar Bee} Elf on the Shelf Mini Cookie Kits

This year I thought it would be fun to create an activity for my customer's elves to bring to their kiddos all the way from the North Pole. I figured that my mini cookie kit was the perfect size and it allowed the kids to be delightfully surprised by their elf while also able to create a little holiday treat to enjoy!

When I envisioned the elves in the morning with this cute cookie kit, I pictured the elf sitting on top of the kit holding a little message to their kiddo. I thought this was a great way for my customer's elves to return to their home or they can even wait and have it as an activity to do another day! Either way, their children will be so excited to decorate cookies that were brought to them by their favorite elf!

Happy holidays and happy cookie decorating!

{Sugar Bee} Their Back! Elf on the Shelf Cookies!

Our favorite little elf will be making their highly anticipated return to households all over the world this week to begin their silly and fun shenanigans. I am sure parents everywhere are thrilled that these magical elves will be here to watch all the kiddos to make sure they are behaving and reporting everything to Santa!

Arranging the elves to look like they have been up to something is probably the most difficult but totally satisfying task during the holidays. That is why I like to create a few options for my customers to choose from when making Elf on the Shelf cookies.

The Elf on the Shelf plaque cookie is always fun for the kiddos elf to say "I'm Back" or have their name on the plaque and in a separate letter or note they can state their arrival! This year I offered a complimentary note to go along with their elf plaque cookies.

The cookie sheet/tray is one of my favorites to arrange because just by placing some sugar and flour on the counter and tossing some of it on the table (those messy little elves), the elf looks like he has been baking all night. The elf can hold the tray on his/her lap and the mini wooden rolling pins is just the cutest touch to show the kids that the cookie was made by their elf just for them!

My pizza and box is probably my best seller and customer favorite! These little pizza cookies come in their own "North Pole Pizza Overnight Elf Delivery" box. The box even has a little green banner to add a name! This is totally fun by itself, but I think would be even more fun if combined with a note or the ingredients to make little pizzas for lunch or dinner later that day!

These cute cookies will be a sweet way for these adorable elves to say "I'm Back" and help my fellow parents with one less thing to come up with during this busy month! Kiddos eyes will light up when they see what their elf brought them from the North Pole!

I hope your children have a magical week with the arrival of their elves!

{Sugar Bee} Boo-tiful Halloween Sugar Cookies

These cookies scared up some fun on my Halloween dessert table this year! The boo-tiful ghosts and jolly Jack O' Lanterns made a comeback this year, but I included a creepy candy corn and a Halloween gnome to add to our fang-tastic night!

This crew certainly helped us have a Happy Halloween!

{Party Bee} Farmhouse Halloween Dessert Table

Every Halloween I love to create a dessert table with a specific theme. It is just something fun and special that I like to do for my family and it has now become an annual tradition that we all look forward to.

This year I was inspired to create a Farmhouse Halloween dessert table! My house is decorated with lots of farmhouse decor, so it was definitely easy for me to incorporate Halloween items to give it the perfect holiday feel! Also, keep in mind that when you are wanting to decorate on a budget, it is great to be able to use items in your house that you already have, instead of having to buy all new decorations and supplies!

I absolutely love black and white buffalo plaid, it really is the perfect farmhouse Fall decor, so that was the foundation for my table design. With the addition of the pumpkins, the pop of orange really gave it that Fall and Halloween feel.

When I was deciding what to incorporate into my table, I thought perhaps it would be fun to create a "Boo Bar"....which is really just a Halloween themed hot chocolate bar. My choices of toppings were mainly the same, but with the addition of candy corn! Love or hate the candy, it just looks so nice in Halloween decor!
Chocolate covered Oreos are always a must on my dessert tables, but this year, I placed them in mason jars and turned them into a centerpiece arrangement. I really loved the way this looked and I can't wait to create more of these arrangements in the future!

What is a dessert table without decorated sugar cookies?! This year my sugar cookies were comprised of cute and simple Halloween designs; a friendly ghost, a smiling jack O' Lantern, creepy candy corn, but I thought it would be fun to add a little gnome for extra cuteness! And boy was he adorable!!!

Though, I must say that the highlight of this table was the beautiful cake that my best friend made! It was just simply stunning and to top it off, it was the most sinfully delicious chocolate cake!

To complete the dessert table, I made some chocolate covered marshmallows and yogurt covered pretzels drizzled with chocolate. These were so simple to make, but were the perfect addition to this dessert table!

I am just a sucker for a cute cup and cozy! So to incorporate the cup into my theme, I added a little printable tag to the cozy. It is the little touches that just make the table come to life!
I absolutely loved how this table came together and my kiddos loved it as well! I am already looking forward to next year! I hope you and your family had a safe and Happy Halloween!
