{Party Bee} Farmhouse Halloween Dessert Table

Every Halloween I love to create a dessert table with a specific theme. It is just something fun and special that I like to do for my family and it has now become an annual tradition that we all look forward to.

This year I was inspired to create a Farmhouse Halloween dessert table! My house is decorated with lots of farmhouse decor, so it was definitely easy for me to incorporate Halloween items to give it the perfect holiday feel! Also, keep in mind that when you are wanting to decorate on a budget, it is great to be able to use items in your house that you already have, instead of having to buy all new decorations and supplies!

I absolutely love black and white buffalo plaid, it really is the perfect farmhouse Fall decor, so that was the foundation for my table design. With the addition of the pumpkins, the pop of orange really gave it that Fall and Halloween feel.

When I was deciding what to incorporate into my table, I thought perhaps it would be fun to create a "Boo Bar"....which is really just a Halloween themed hot chocolate bar. My choices of toppings were mainly the same, but with the addition of candy corn! Love or hate the candy, it just looks so nice in Halloween decor!
Chocolate covered Oreos are always a must on my dessert tables, but this year, I placed them in mason jars and turned them into a centerpiece arrangement. I really loved the way this looked and I can't wait to create more of these arrangements in the future!

What is a dessert table without decorated sugar cookies?! This year my sugar cookies were comprised of cute and simple Halloween designs; a friendly ghost, a smiling jack O' Lantern, creepy candy corn, but I thought it would be fun to add a little gnome for extra cuteness! And boy was he adorable!!!

Though, I must say that the highlight of this table was the beautiful cake that my best friend made! It was just simply stunning and to top it off, it was the most sinfully delicious chocolate cake!

To complete the dessert table, I made some chocolate covered marshmallows and yogurt covered pretzels drizzled with chocolate. These were so simple to make, but were the perfect addition to this dessert table!

I am just a sucker for a cute cup and cozy! So to incorporate the cup into my theme, I added a little printable tag to the cozy. It is the little touches that just make the table come to life!
I absolutely loved how this table came together and my kiddos loved it as well! I am already looking forward to next year! I hope you and your family had a safe and Happy Halloween!

Lovebirds Getting Married

Today two lovebirds are tying the knot and will celebrate this special day with their closest family and friends. I was so happy and honored when I was asked to help make their celebration even more special by creating sugar cookies to add to the festivities!

The bride knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding and these cookies turned out just as unique and beautiful as she had envisioned!

Since the bride's wedding colors are red and black and her theme is very elegant, we wanted to create a unique yet sophisticated collection with just a touch of cute and whimsy.

Thus, her first two choices for her set were the ampersand and the lovebirds. She also wanted to incorporate hearts into the collection, but I wanted to personalize them a little bit with the letter of the couple's last name. Finally, we completed the set with classic red roses that helped tie the set together.

This set turned out beautifully and I hope the Mr. and Mrs. love them as much as I loved creating them! Here's to two lovebirds on their wedding day! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness!

{Sugar Bee} Emmy's Sweet One

This weekend Emmy is celebrating her "Sweet One" and I am so thrilled that I got to help make her day a little bit sweeter with an adorable watermelon cookie set!

When Emmy's mom contacted me to make cookies for her watermelon themed party, I was so excited because I have been wanting to create cookies for this birthday theme for ages now! So it was quick to the sketch pad to design cookies that would be perfect for Emmy's very special day.

Emmy's mom definitely knew she wanted to include a watermelon Popsicle, so that was a must in the collection. This may be my favorite cookie of the entire set!

Next I wanted to include a watermelon slice, but I thought it would be fun if they had a little bite out of it.

My third design was a number one, because I love to include the age of the child and personalize it with their name to make it extra special. I incorporated the watermelons into the pattern, as well as added a pearlized green stripe that is reminiscent of a watermelon rind.

My final design was to incorporate the party slogan, "Sweet One". I used the pearlized green stripe pattern for unity and to help contrast with the shades of pink. To bring everything together, I added a sweet rosette and leaf to all of the cookies for an extra touch of pretty.

I love how this set turned out and I hope Emmy and her mom love them even more!

Happy first birthday Sweet One! I hope Emmy's momentous day is filled with so much love, joy, and watermelon, surrounded by her adoring family!

{Sugar Bee} Batter up! Henry is turning ONE!

Batter up! Henry is hitting the big the ONE and his special day will surely be lots of fun!

Time has certainly flown by! It wasn't long ago that Henry's mom was planning for his baby shower, now she is planning his first birthday and I was very happy to be able to assist with creating some treats to make this milestone extra sweet!

Henry is having a baseball themed first birthday and his mama entrusted me to design some cookies that would compliment his birthday cake and overall theme. When I was sketching I wanted the set to include the essential baseball equipment. So I decided up a baseball bat, baseball, and jersey, but I wanted to personalize them so that they featured the birthday boy's name and age!
I hope the birthday boy and his family love the cookies as much as I loved making them, and though his celebration will be a very small and intimate gathering, I am sure Henry's biggest fans will be showering him with so much love and joy for this momentous occasion in Henry's life!

Back to School Sweet Treats!

I can't believe that school is set to begin next week! Where has the time gone?! With the students starting school online, they may not be feeling the same back to school butterflies or excitement as previous years. So this year I thought it was extra important that I try and help my fellow parents make their kids first day back a little more special and a whole lot sweeter!

I was so thrilled to create my first set of mini cookies! These circus animal cookies are just so cute and will make any student or teacher "wild" about school and excited for their first day back!

I also wanted to create traditional sets of back to school cookies for my customers! So this year I made backpack cookies in four different colors and patterns, a notebook paper cookie, and of course, an apple!

These sets will make such fun treats to celebrate the start of the year and will certainly put a smile on your child's face!

Wishing your kiddos a sweet school year and a wonderful 1st day back!
