It is so important for me to take the time to do something special for my child's teachers because without them he wouldn't enjoy going to school everyday and wouldn't have progressed so much over the past two years. My child LOVES his teachers and his teachers aides and it is so nice to hear him talk about them when he gets home from school. I know that he is in good hands and it is clear that they care about their students. This year is extra important for us to show our gratitude because it is my son's last year with them as he starts his new adventure in Kindergarten in the Fall.
The thing is, it doesn't have to be extravagant or expensive, but just doing something little and nice is enough to show your appreciation. Teachers really do so much for our children and they truly deserve so much more, but doing even a little something special is perfect and they will really love it!
Lastly, I created a gift card holder. What is nice about this is that you can add just about any gift card so no worries if your child's teacher doesn't drink coffee or doesn't shop at Target (though who doesn't love going to Target)?
