{Party Bee} Packaging Chocolate Covered Oreos

After my daughter's ladybug themed birthday party, I wanted to give some of my friends who couldn't make it to the party some chocolate covered Oreos. Well, of course I didn't want to just give them the Oreos in the palm of their hands being that I am always a fan of nice presentation. So after looking through my craft closet, I saw some little candy boxes and thought, PERFECT!

It is such a simple and cute way to give these little goodies! The candy boxes can be purchased at Michael's or Joann's and then wrapped with some baker's twine. Attaching a coordinating tag is optional, but I love that it goes along with theme. I think these would be perfect as gifts or party favors for a baby shower or bridal shower, really these would be cute at any party!

{Sugar Bee} St. Patty's Day Marshmallow Pops!

Look what the little leprechauns left out for us this morning....green marshmallow pops in a lovely vase filled with delicious mint M&M's! What busy little leprechauns! Hope you and your family are surrounded with all things green and having a fun St. Patty's Day!

{Party Bee} My Little Lady's 1st Birthday!

It has happened, my baby girl has went from my sweet newbie to my lovable little lady. It doesn't seem possible that a whole year could have gone by that quickly, but indeed, Ava turned 1 this past week and we celebrated my love bug's big day by throwing a birthday bash fit for the cutest of ladybugs!

The theme was so much fun to work with because not only are these little bugs adorable, but they are totally accessible so I went crazy with ladybugs!

From her smash cake to her cookies and cupcakes, you could find ladybugs EVERYWHERE!

Her party table wouldn't be complete without a coordinating letter "A" and treat bags filled with cherry M&M's and Dove chocolates! But my favorite are her candy bars with the nutritional information on the back!

In case the M&M's and Dove chocolates weren't enough, guests could choose to eat the Hershey Nuggets and Ghirardelli chocolate squares covered in customized coordinating labels or have a chocolate covered Oreo in the shape of a ladybug!

Got to have some family photos to remember our little girl's big day! Especially when she is looking SUPER adorable in her tutu, headband, bib, and leg warmers!

Grandma made her little lady a very special and beautiful ladybug cake....she is one loved baby!

 All of Ava's cousins and friends got to leave with a fun and matching to-go box to fill with treats!

Even the food table was festive and decorated with red and black!

I love seeing how much she has changed in the course of a year, so I created little ladybugs with her pictures documenting her from 1 to 11 months. My husband let his artistic side out again and painted a couple ladybugs for the yard!

The "Little Ladies" and "Love Bugs" had their own special tables made just for them, complete with personalized placemats and a juice box to quench their thirst!

At their table, they were able to color wooden ladybug magnets. Fun for both the kids and their parents!

The ladybug bean bag toss was fun...especially for my little man, though he didn't quite get the concept of tossing the bag through!

No party is complete without a piñata! The kids did their best at opening this bug!

 

 

I think cake time was a success! My girl knows how to destroy a smash cake!

{Queen Bee} My baby girl, Ava, is ONE!

It has actually been a year since my baby girl, Ava, was born! This day today, I held my sweet little girl in my arms and fell in love all over again. It is so true when people say that time goes by so quickly and your babies grow with a blink of an eye. Every day with her is such a blessing and I am so lucky to be her mom.

Happy 1st Birthday to my sweet little love bug!

{Party Bee} Client Feature: Jackson's 1st Birthday

Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog! I can't believe my cousin's son, Jackson, has turned 1! It seemed like just the other day they were bringing him home from the hospital and we were visiting him as a sweet and tiny little newborn. A year really does go by so quickly! Now he is an adorable and happy toddler!

To celebrate this momentous day in Jackson's life, his mom and dad created an awesome Mickey Mouse themed bash and the little birthday boy partied Mousketeer style!

 

The cake alone was just too cute! I love the different tiers from the Mickey pant and shoes up to the Mickey hat! I especially love the middle tier with the fun circles and Mickey Mouse head silhouette.

 

The table was full of fun goodies from Mickey Mouse sugar cookies to Mickey Mouse chocolate covered Oreos. Then to wash all of the sweets down, the guests were given water bottles with coordinating Mickey labels. One of my favorite parts of the table was the letter "J", Jackson's mom created to look like Mickey Mouse...a perfect touch!

{Sugar Bee} Mickey Cookies

Over the weekend my family and I attended my cousin's son, Jackson's, first birthday! It is so hard to believe that it has already been a year since he was born. Which means that in only a couple months my baby girl will be a year old since Jackson was born 2 months before Ava. Wow, time really does fly by so fast!

For Jackson's party, his mom and dad threw him a Mickey Mouse themed birthday party and they ordered the cookies from yours truly! They asked for Mickey ears and pants and wanted to keep them pretty simple. Although they are simple, they are so cute and they really made a big impact on their dessert table. Isn't the saying, less is more?!?! Well, it definitely is in this case!

{Queen Bee} Christmas Family Fun time

I look forward to many things during Christmas time, of course I love the decorations and baking, but most of all I love having my family together and enjoying each others company. Our family traditions are so simple but are so very special. Every year we get to laugh, eat, and play games together before Santa comes and really appreciate how blessed we are to have a loving family.
